Hleb grateful to Arsene for allowing his dream move

Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Hleb thanked Arsene for helping to complete his dream move to Barcelona.The midfielder recently signed a £11.8million deal with the catalians.
The Belarus midfielder was earlier quoted as saying some ungraceful words to his former boss Arsene and his colleague Fabregas.
“I am from Belarus and I was always with my family in December for Christmas and New Year, and it is very important,” he said.
“London was very hectic, it was really just football that helped me in that life.
“I wanted a change and Barcelona for me are the biggest team. It is my dream and I’m very happy.
“Now this is a different league and I hope I adapt as quickly as possible.”

I never said anything bad about Arsene or Fabregas,” the 27-year-old said. “This was just an English newspaper saying this.

“For me, Fabregas is my best friend and I had a good understanding with him on the pitch.
“Arsene Wenger, for me, is like a father. He gave me a lot and I learned a lot from him and I need to say thank you to him for the fact that I now play in Barcelona.”
Hleb added: “If Arsene Wenger stays at Arsenal, they will always play at the top. I think he is everything for Arsenal.”

Hleb will probably play his first match for Barcelona as they face Hibernian on Thursday.

Former Liverpool star Robbie Fowler is all set to return to Premier league with Blackburn Rovers.The 33 year old will leave Cardiff to join former liverpool team-mate Paul Ince.

1)Samir Nasri has finally made a move to Arsenal.It was just a formality announcment as his deal was already speculated before.
2)Steve Sidwell has joined Aston Villa from Chelsea.

The recent issues regarding player’s unhappiness in clubs has caught the headlines these days.Loyalties,honesties,fans and club bondings seem to be vanishing in football.The recent headlines from EPL has just took me apart.
It has not been long since Alan Shearer famously rejected the bid of Manchester United to continue playing for Newcastle.Are those days completely over?
I am feeling sorry for Arsene.His hands are completely empty after the club moved from Highbury to Emirates in 2006.Flamini’s departure seems to be simply for the sake of his unsatisfaction from the payment structure of Arsenal.Emmanuel Adebayor giving a threat to club is simply beyond my head.Did anyone knew him before he scored 20+ goals for Arsenal last season.Do he really think that he is already a world class striker and not a learner at this stage?Doesn’t he own anything to the club that feed him till now?
A news from Seria A has also striked me.Andrea Pirlo wants salary just like Kaka!!Pirlo is a wonderful player,but does he rank himself alongside Kaka?I thought Seria A is the strongest bonded league with most of top players being loyal to their club and sticking with them for a long time.
Coming back to the premier league.Christiano Ronaldo..How can I forget him?He is being completely tempted with a salary reportedly to be about £180,000 a week by Real Madrid.While I do feel that most of the player has desire to play for Madrid,but in the case of Ronaldo I only see money being the issue.He is just 22 and still has lot of time left to play football.I think he should concentrate on playing for Manchester United and achieve more that what he did last season.
A player or any other person signs contract to fulfil it honestly.But nowdays contract means nothing for players.It has been just a year since Ronaldo signed a 5 year deal with Man U.And just after a year,the same guy is terribly seeking a move to Real Madrid.
Money is the important part in everone’s life.But why are footballers these days making money the only reason for playing football?Football should involve dedication,loyalty towards club and the fans who continuously support their heroes.A player is better known as a club legend than someone who played for many clubs.

I just hope that this horrible transfer systems completely stop and a better brand of it originate.

Paul Ince as new Blackburn Manager

Blackburn rovers has surprised all by appointing former England captain Paul Ince as the manager to replace Mark hughes. Ince enjoyed a fine season in charge of MK Dons last season, leading them to the Coca-Cola League Two title and the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

After becoming the first black England captain,He has again made history by being the first black British manager. Earlier, Derby and Wigan were also reported to be intrested in the services of Ince.He was a flaring midfielder in his playing days, playing with the likes of Manchester United, Inter Milan and Liverpool during an illustrious career.He has won 53 International caps for England.
Ince will be unveiled before the press on Tuesday afternoon.

Chelsea confirms Scolari as their new manager

Chelsea has confirmed that current portugal Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari will be managing the club from this season.The 59 year old was the favourite to suceed Avram Grant as the manager of chelsea.Though he has yet to manage a club at Europe he has had huge success with brazil and portugal National team.Scolari’s biggest achievement was leading Brazil to World Cup glory in 2002.

A statement released by chelsea said “Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm that Luiz Felipe Scolari will be the club’s new manager from July 1, 2008.
“Felipe has great qualities. He is one of the world’s top coaches with a record of success at country and club level, he gets the best out of a talented squad of players and his ambitions and expectations match ours.
“He was the outstanding choice.
“Out of respect for his current role as head coach of the Portuguese national team, and to ensure minimum disruption to this work, there will be no further comment from Chelsea FC nor from Felipe about his new role until his employment with us commences.”

Hughes is the new city Manager

Only after few days from sacking of Sven Goran Eriksson,Manchester city has today unveiled Mark Hughes as their New Manager.The former Blackburn boss was also a intrest from chelsea.
City’s chief executive, Garry Cook, said: “I am delighted to welcome Mark on board. In our view he is the brightest young manager in the game and he was our number one target for the manager’s job.”
“He made it clear to us from the moment we met that he shared our vision and ambition to make Manchester City one of the top sides in the country.

“It’s a privilege to join Dr Thaksin here at Manchester City. There is no better opportunity in world football.

“The club intends to invest in new players as well as securing the long-term services of key members of the current first-team squad.

“Mark has already identified some of the players and backroom staff that he wants to see here at City, and we will begin the process of recruiting them immediately.”
Cook also was just appointed by owner Thaksin Shinawatra as new chief executive.
Hughes will be presented to the media at a press conference on Thursday morning.

Rumors has arised that Newcastle united are preparing for a bid for Real Zaragoza’s Argentine midfielder Pablo Aimar.Following Zaragoza’s relegation from la liga it was estimated that Aimar would surely leave the club.

Aston Villa up for Sidwell

Martin O’Neill has joined the race with other premier league clubs to land in Steve Sidwell from chelsea.It is thought that he wants to use Steve as a replacement fot Gareth Barry who is likely to join Liverpool.

Sidwell joined the London club last season from Reading but is frustated with very few appearence last season.He has been tagged a price of US $ 12 million by Chelsea.

Eriksson leaves City

It has been confirmed that Manchester city Boss Sven Goran Eriksson has exicted the club.A statement in the club’s official website reaveled the message. “I have enjoyed my time at Manchester City very much indeed and in particular, I would like to thank the fans, players and staff for their amazing support over the season,” said Eriksson.

Sven led City to ninth place this season but he will be remembered more for the double over Manchester united.

Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Huges is more likely to replace Sven as city manager as it has been reported that Blackburn has given permission to City to hold talks with Huges.

Henk ten Cate also leaves chelsea

Chelsea has confirmed that Henk ten Cate’s contract has been terminated.The former ajax Boss who was a right hand to Avram Grant was expected that he might stay with chelsea.

The club statement at official web site said”Chelsea Football Club can confirm that it terminated Henk Ten Cate’s contract today. This follows a meeting this morning.”

“As a result of the team management changes at Chelsea FC, and in the light of any forthcoming appointment, it was clear this was the correct decision for all parties.”

“Everybody at Chelsea would like to thank Henk for his contribution since coming to the club last year.”

The speculation on Chelsea job still continues as former Inter coach Manchini and Barc’s Frank Rijkard considered as favourites.
