Hats Off to Roy Keane

The once high ranting player is now the manager of Sunderland.A brilliant dominating season in the championship to start with. And he has carried that pace so far in the premiership. With such a limited resources,Sunderland has now secured their place for the next season’s top flight football. No wonder we must talk about this famous achievment of Roy Keane. No one has ever doubted his temperment as a player. The former Man U midfield mastereo is now set to prove everyone his temperment and talent as a manager.

Roy Keane’s vision for sunderland must have been very much a optimistic one.A
spending of about £40million in the starting season in the premiership has shown flying colours. His big purchases Craig Gordon for £9m, Kenwyne Jones for £6m, Kieran Richardson for £5.5m and Michael Chopra for £5m has all proved instrumental in this season’s success.Keane is not yet over with it.It has been reported that he will demand a hefty sum of £50million to spend on five new players. He wants to include some famous names like Diego Forlan and Damien Duff in his squad. He just wants to compete with the likes of Aston villa, blackburn next season.

Most of the peoples who knows keane knows his words go high with him.He is still the same man who famously spoke his heart out against everything he disliked. He will not let Sunderland down…Thats for sure.He was a leader at Man U and he is still at sunderland.Refereeing decisions has been a famous part of the season for Sunderland. There are dozens of decisions which had left sunderland still fighting for survival while they should have
been buzzing somewhere in upper level of second half.Keane’s image has not been reaveled so much relating to these incidents. He has opted to be silence or just has given simple opinions.A injury time winner ruled out by Steve Bennett against villa,A clear goal from Michael Chopra ,controversially denied against derby were some examples of misjustice against the black cats.Though Keane recieved many appologies from the referees, these things counts little in the outcome of the season.

Lets not forget the setbacks of sunderland this season.Their position so far is just because of their performances in front of 45000 capacity in the stadium of light.Their 7-1 defeat by everton at Goodison Park still pinches Keane. He described it as one of the worst part of his career.Out of 18 away matches so far,Sunderland has just won 2 and lost 13.they have just scored 13 goals and conceded 36.That does tell the story of the weakness of the club.Keane would look at this stats as the major improvement area next season
Anything that has happened with the black cats,we cannot take anything away from Roy keane’s effort to keep
sunderland as a premiership club next season. The sunderland fans will just be hoping that the tricks of magical Keane will work for them as it did with Manchester united.
